New Solar Power Plant for Boise

A new solar power plant is going to be built near the Boise Airport. According to KTVB.com:

"To put into perspective how much power this facility could produce, we're told at capacity it could power about 1,200 homes."

Schools Go Green with Solar Tubes

An interesting editorial from the Santa Monica Mirror that discusses solar tubes as part of the green movement in schools:

"In Los Angeles, the Maywood Academy High School uses solar tubes throughout the school to provide a natural source of lighting.  Not only was money saved at schools converting to natural daylight, but educators told us students exposed to natural daylight had increased test scores."
