Utah Conference Focuses On Home Renewable Energy
A recent renewable energy conference in Salt Lake City sponsored by the Utah Technology Council and the Utah Solar Energy Association had a unique focus: to spread the message that clean energy is no longer reserved for just millionaires and “off-the-grid fanatics”. “There are several inexpensive ways for everyday people to access the power available around their homes and to cut energy bills with efficiency improvements, said Belnap, the executive director of the Utah Solar Energy Association.” Read the Associated Press article covering the conference (via Bloomberg Businessweek) here.
Belnap further explained that technological innovations are being more customer-driven, producing things like portable solar panels to charge small electronics, etc. Gem State Solar is happy to offer both the customer-driven products, like LED light bulbs, Smart Strip surge protectors, and sun ovens, in addition to the more traditional clean technologies like our TechSmart Energy System, solar attic fans, and tubular skylights.
