Can I add an option to close-off the sky light?
Yes, the dimmer allows you to adjust the amount of daylight entering a room with an easy-to-use remote control.
Can I add a light to the Skylight?
Yes, There may be instances where a room is either too small or it is otherwise undesirable to have a second light fixture in the ceiling. Natural Light has an ingenious solution! The light kit can be installed in the previous fixture’s ceiling rough out or can be added anywhere with additional electrical wiring. The incandescent or fluorescent light fixture is mounted inside and is wired to the wall switch. Your Natural Light tubular skylight is now ready to serve for evening illumination!
How many years experience do your installers have?
Our installer has 15 years experience.
What is the warranty on installation?
We are so confident that you will not have any problems with our installations we warranty our installation for period of 5 years.
What is the warranty on the Tubular Skylight?
25 Year Product Warranty - the best in the industry!
Natural Light Tubular Skylights have a 25 year warranty against manufacturer’s defects and deterioration. The manufacturer warrants its products and components to be free from defects in material and manufacturer’s workmanship for a period of twenty five years from the date of installation. This warranty is subject to proper installation of the unit in accordance with the manufacturer’s written installation instructions. The manufacturer will not be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages.
What is the warranty on the Solar Attic Fan?
Best Industry Warranty!
Natural Light warrants their product to be free from defects in material and manufacturer’s workmanship for a period of 25 years on the housing, the solar panel and the motor, from the date of installation. This warranty is subject to proper installation of the unit in accordance with the manufacturer’s written installation instructions. The manufacturer will not be liable for any special, incidental or consequential damages in any way related to, or arising out of, defects in, or damage to, the solar attic fan.
Is Natural Lights Tubular Skylight ICBO approved?
Yes, ICBO ES evaluates building products and materials to determine whether they meet the requirements in the building and related codes. Natural Light Tubular Skylight has been tested and approved by the ICBO ES staff of professionally licensed civil, structural, fire, mechanical and quality control engineers. ICBO ES is the only globally accredited building code evaluation service in the US.
Will the Natural Light Solar Attic Fans and Tubular Skylights withstand extreme weather conditions?
Yes, Natural Light Solar Attic Fan takes a direct hit from flying debris in 2007 Central Florida Tornado and remains installed in working condition.
Natural Light Tubular Skylights were not damaged in 2007 Central Florida Tornado.
How long will it take for me to receive my order?
5-10 business days, most orders shipped same day from our warehouse.

Can my order be shipped to a PO Box?
No, sorry for any inconvenience, but UPS and FedEx will not ship packages to P.O. boxes.

How do I exchange or return an item?
Damaged or Defective Items
If your order arrives at your door damaged, broken or defective, we will either replace the broken parts if possible or ship out a new one completely at our expense.
Requests for replacement parts will be processed as quickly as possible. Please note that we are not able to express ship replacement pieces.
We work hard to make your shopping experience at Gem State Solar an enjoyable one.
Credit and Return Time
Please give us some time to process your return/exchange. It takes about 10 business days for us to receive the returned or exchanged product back from you. Within 72 hours of receiving the item back in our warehouse, you will receive an e-mail that reflects that your credit card has been credited.
All refunds granted are for the purchase price of the product only and can only be issued to the credit card used at purchase.
Canceling Your Order
If you have placed an order and would like to cancel it, please call us at 1-208-949-3947 within FOUR hours of placing your order to cancel it free of any charges.
Don't worry! Even after the four hours, our friendly customer service will do all that we can to stop the items from being processed and/or shipped but there is no guarantee that we will be able to stop it in time.
Please allow us 10-14 days once we have received your return to process and credit your credit card.
